Innovative, complex data projects usually require the right combination of users and software. We make an exception to the rule here because classic data science applied to technical processes is not very efficient. Well trained users operate sophisticated software solutions to extract information from single data files, which are then displayed in specially programmed diagrams. Without process engineering know-how and without the advantage of using the gained knowledge elsewhere, e.g. in regular monitoring.
With Pi we understand data science in a different way: as the icing on the cake of the anyway necessary process analysis, to gain new information with innovative methods* and to make it generally usable. And this is easily possible with Pi, even for non-scientists. "Applied data science" so to say!
* With Pi, neuronal networks can be trained very easily or digital twins can be created.
